To preserve the natural beauty of the region, and create a luxurious and peaceful estate, careful architectural guidelines were established.
In Harmony with Nature
Working from Master architect, Frank Lloyd Wright’s, vision of ‘building in nature’, the architecture of the Estate doesn’t seek to compete with nature but reside in harmony alongside it. Natural materials, colours and textures are used, outdoor and indoor areas are seamlessly integrated, and homes are designed to work with the region’s subtropical climate by encouraging cooling and ventilation. The focus on the horizontal, one of the theme’s main styles, is echoed through low-pitched roof lines, cantilevers, large windows and glass walls.
Building in Nature
Properties are built to reveal the beauty of the surroundings, from sea views, forest areas and waterfront vistas. To ensure the properties on the Estate remain sensitive to the local ecosystem, a Conservation Management Plan is followed.
